Espanola, NM - Larry Manzanarez Killed in Motorcycle Crash on NM-399

Espanola, NM (May 25, 2021) - On Sunday, May 23, a motorcyclist was killed following a two-vehicle crash near Espanola. 

The deadly accident occurred on NM-399 at around 2 p.m., according to local sources. Initial reports indicated that 43-year-old Larry Manzanarez was traveling southbound on the highway at the time of the fatal impact. The rider then entered the northbound lanes where he collided head-on with a 2011 GMC Yukon pickup truck. 

The collision left Manzanarez with fatal injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. No other injuries were reported in the accident. 

An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is being managed by the New Mexico State Police.
