Albuquerque, NM - Rollover Crash with Injuries at I-40 & 2nd St

Albuquerque, NM (May 17, 2021) - On Sunday, May 16, there were confirmed injuries after a rollover collision in Albuquerque. 

Local authorities were called to the scene near the time of 10:20 p.m. According to initial reports, the site was located at the crossing of Interstate 40 EB and 2nd Street. At least one vehicle overturned due to the impact. 

Lanes 1 and 2 were closed following the crash. The closures contributed to significant roadway delays. The injured parties were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. 

An ongoing crash investigation is being handled by local authorities.
