Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Injured at Central Ave & Espanola St

Albuquerque, NM (May 20, 2021) - There were reported injuries following a pedestrian crash in the Albuquerque area on Wednesday, May 19. 

Initial reports revealed that the incident occurred that night at around 7:17 p.m. First responders were called to the scene at the corner of Central Avenue SE and Espanola Street SE. The accident reportedly involved a pedestrian and a motor vehicle. 

The pedestrian was conscious when emergency responders arrived at the scene. The injured party reportedly complained of leg pain. The wounded victim was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. 

The identity of the injured party has been withheld. An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by local authorities.
