Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Hit by Semi-Truck at I-40 & Coors Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (May 10, 2021) - There were reported injuries following a pedestrian crash in Albuquerque on Sunday, May 9. 

At around 11:01 p.m. that evening, emergency responders were called to the scene. The site was located on Interstate 40 EB at the Coors Boulevard off-ramp. The roadway was closed in both directions. 

A pedestrian was on the roadway when they were hit by an oncoming commercial vehicle. The identity of the injured party has not been revealed at this time. The wounded pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. 

An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
