Albuquerque, NM - Lead Ave & Girard Blvd Scene of Injury Accident

Albuquerque, NM (May 3, 2021) - On Sunday, May 2, there were reported injuries in an Albuquerque vehicle collision. 

At around 12:29 p.m. that afternoon, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene. The crash occurred at the crossing of Lead Avenue SE and Girard Boulevard SE. At least one involved party suffered undisclosed injuries. 

The area was closed while emergency response units cleared the scene of related debris. Responding paramedics provided aid to the injured parties. The severity of the resulting injuries was not included in the initial reports. 

An ongoing investigation into the accident is being managed by the Albuquerque Police Department.
