Albuquerque, NM - Cottonwood Dr & Ellison Dr Site of Injury Accident

Albuquerque, NM (May 25, 2021) - At least one person was injured in the aftermath of an Albuquerque car crash on Monday, May 24. 

According to local reports, the accident took place that afternoon at around 2:12 p.m. First responders were spotted at the scene near the corner of Cottonwood Drive NW and Ellison Drive NW. The injured parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel. 

The severity and number of resulting injuries were not included in initial reports. The area was closed for several hours while emergency response units cleared the site of related debris. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by the Albuquerque Police Department.
