Carlsbad, NM - Two Killed in Fatal Accident at San Jose Blvd & Kircher St

Carlsbad, NM (April 27, 2021) - A deadly car accident in Carlsbad on Friday, April 23, resulted in two fatalities. 

The fatal crash occurred at around 10 p.m. that evening at the corner of San Jose Boulevard and Kircher Street. When emergency responders arrived, the victims were already deceased. Another involved party was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. 

At this time, the identities of the decedents have not been provided. The scene was closed for several hours while investigators and paramedics were present. The circumstances leading to the accident have not been reported at this time. 

Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the cause of the deadly accident.
