Albuquerque, NM - Serious Injury Collision at I-40 & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (April 3, 2021) - There were serious injuries reported at the scene of a car crash in Albuquerque on Saturday, April 3. 

Local authorities were informed of the collision that morning at around 5:46 a.m. The site was located near the crossing of Interstate 40 EB and San Mateo Boulevard NE. The accident left at least one person injured. 

The severity and number of resulting injuries have not been included in local reports. When officials arrived, a roadblock was put in place, and emergency responders were present to provide aid to the crash victims. 

An investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local authorities.
