Albuquerque, NM - Injuries Following Accident at New York Ave & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (April 15, 2021) - There were serious injuries reported after a car wreck on Thursday, April 15, in the Albuquerque area. 

At around 3:20 a.m. that morning, local authorities were informed of the collision. The site was located at the intersection of New York Avenue NW and Central Avenue NW. First responders were called to the scene to provide aid to the injured parties. 

The extent of the related injuries has not been confirmed at this time. When officials arrived, a roadblock was put in place, closing multiple lanes at the intersection. The number of injured parties involved in the crash has not been confirmed. 

The Albuquerque Police Department is managing an ongoing investigation into the crash.
