New Mexico Intersection Crashes
Intersections play a crucial role in roadway safety. Despite measures from state and federal governments, these areas continue to be a hotspot for catastrophic accidents. According to the Federal Highway Administration, there are more than 2.5 million intersection collisions reported annually, making up an estimated 40% of reported wrecks nationwide. Over the past twenty years, intersections have become increasingly more dangerous.
In the state of New Mexico, plaintiffs injured in a vehicle collision have a right to be fully compensated for injuries resulting from the actions of a negligent party. When calculating the extent of a victim’s damages, many different factors are taken into consideration, including the suffering endured by the victim and the extent of their financial damages resulting from a New Mexico car accident. Considering all these factors can be overwhelming for those trying their best to recover after a car accident.
