A crash involving a speeding driver only takes a few seconds to leave you with life-changing injuries. Our busy schedules often push drivers to exceed the speed limit, but this is far from an innocent act. In fact, over the past twenty years, speeding has been a factor in nearly one-third of reported traffic fatalities in the United States, with thousands being killed annually in high-speed crashes.
In the state of New Mexico, plaintiffs injured in a vehicle collision have a right to be fully compensated for injuries resulting from the actions of a negligent party. When calculating the extent of a victim’s damages, many different factors are taken into consideration, including the suffering endured by the victim and the extent of their financial damages resulting from a New Mexico car accident. Considering all these factors can be overwhelming for those trying their best to recover after a car accident.
