Sierra Co, NM - Keith Timmerman Killed in Rollover Crash on Co Rd A003

Sierra Co, NM (March 11, 2021) - Two people were killed following a single-vehicle accident in Sierra County on Sunday, March 7. 

According to reports from the New Mexico State Police, the deadly crash occurred at around 6 a.m. on County Road A003. Local sources revealed that a silver 2004 Toyota 4Runner was traveling northbound on the one-lane dirt road. For unknown reasons, the driver, 56-year-old Keith Timmerman of Jacksonville, Florida, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn. 

Both Timmerman and his passenger, 54-year-old Deborah Ann Portzline of Arrey, New Mexico, were ejected from the vehicle. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. No further updates on the fatal crash are currently available. 

An ongoing investigation into the accident is in progress.
