Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian in Wheelchair Struck at Central Ave & San Pablo St

Albuquerque, NM (March 1, 2021) - A crash in Albuquerque on Sunday, February 28, resulted in the death of a pedestrian. 

The deadly crash occurred late that evening at around 10:13 p.m. First responders were called to the scene at the corner of Central Avenue SE and San Pablo Street SE. The pedestrian was wheelchair-bound and crossing the street at the time of the incident. 

The crash ejected the pedestrian from the wheelchair. The victim was found lying on the roadway with paramedics arrived. The injured pedestrian was reportedly barely moving. 

No further updates on the condition of the wounded party have been provided. Local authorities are currently investigating the crash.
