Albuquerque, NM - Injury Collision at University Blvd & Strand Lp

Albuquerque, NM (March 20, 2021) - A crash in the city of Albuquerque left at least one person injured early on Friday night, March 19. 

Local authorities received a call notifying them of the accident near the time of 4:20 p.m. At the corner of University Boulevard SE and Stand Loop SE, two vehicles reportedly collided. The accident resulted in confirmed injuries, according to reports from the Albuquerque Police Department. 

The severity of the related injuries was not included in local reports. When authorities arrived, the scene was closed for some hours while emergency response units cleared the area. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties are currently available. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in progress.
