Albuquerque, NM - Entrapment Accident with Injuries at Scenic Dr & Rainbow Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (March 4, 2021) - Emergency responders were called to an injury accident in Albuquerque on Wednesday, March 3. 

At around 8:32 p.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of Scenic Drive and Rainbow Boulevard NW. There were confirmed injuries at the scene. One victim was reportedly trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated by first responders. 

The patient was unconscious and unresponsive when paramedics arrived. They were transported by EMS to a nearby hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident has not been reported at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by the Albuquerque Police Department.
