New Mexico Speeding-Related Accidents
The faster you travel in a motor vehicle, the less effective the safety mechanisms will be. Not only that but speeding is known to increase the risk of a collision while also magnifying the severity of resulting injuries. Excess speeds have been cited in nearly one-third of traffic-related fatalities in the United States over the past twenty years, and thousands of Americans are killed annually in high-speed car accidents.
Car crashes in New Mexico are caused by a variety of roadway hazards, such as poor driving, excessive speed, unsafe road conditions, poor truck maintenance, road construction, and inadequate signage. Determining liability for a crash can be difficult and more complex than simply determining fault, and injured parties are often unprepared to protect their legal rights after a catastrophic accident. New Mexico car crash attorneys who specialize in car accidents work with car crash injury cases resulting from a variety of causes.
