New Mexico Reckless Driving Crashes

Unfortunately, even safe drivers are never completely safe, and reckless drivers are responsible for nearly half of traffic fatalities reported each year. New Mexico motorists often engage in negligent behavior on the road, and the state ranks fifth in the nation for careless driving accidents according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Car crashes in New Mexico are caused by a variety of roadway hazards, such as poor driving, excessive speed, unsafe road conditions, poor truck maintenance, road construction, and inadequate signage. Determining liability for a crash can be difficult and more complex than simply determining fault, and injured parties are often unprepared to protect their legal rights after a catastrophic accident.
