Albuquerque, NM - Accident with Injuries at San Mateo Blvd & Gibson Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (March 29, 2021) - On Sunday, March 28, there were confirmed injuries after a vehicle collision in the Albuquerque area. 

Initial reports revealed that the crash occurred at the corner of San Mateo Boulevard SE and Gibson Boulevard SE at around 1:12 p.m. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, at least one person at the scene suffered injuries. The severity of those injuries was not included in the initial reports. 

When officials arrived, the scene was closed to outside traffic. The crash victims were evaluated by responding paramedics and provided medical aid. Those requiring further treatment were transported to neighboring medical facilities. 

The ongoing crash investigation is being handled by the APD.
