Albuquerque, NM - Accident at Interstate 40 & 98th St Results in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (March 31, 2021) - A car accident in the Albuquerque area resulted in confirmed injuries on Tuesday, March 30. 

Local reports revealed that the accident occurred at the crossing of Interstate 40 WB and 98th Street. First responders were sighted at the scene at around 5:22 p.m. that evening. Two vehicles collided and left at least one person suffering from undisclosed injuries. 

While investigators and paramedics were present, the scene was closed. The crash victims were evaluated by emergency responders and provided necessary medical aid. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties are available at this time. 

The Albuquerque Police Department is managing the ongoing crash investigation.
