Albuquerque, NM - Motorcycle Accident with Injuries at I-40 & San Mateo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (February 24, 2021) - There were reported injuries following a motorcycle on Tuesday night, February 23, in Albuquerque. 

Local reports revealed that the collision occurred that evening at around 5 p.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to the site of the collision near the intersection of Interstate 40 WB and San Mateo Boulevard. Two vehicles were involved in the accident, a motorcycle and a motor vehicle. 

Multiple emergency response agencies were present at the scene. The severity and number of resulting injuries have not been revealed at this time. No further updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. 

The Albuquerque Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
