Albuquerque, NM (February 28, 2021) - A pedestrian was fatally injured after being struck by a motor vehicle in Albuquerque at around 7:15 p.m on Saturday, February 27.
The crash in question occurred near the corner of Del Rio Road SW and Rio Bravo Boulevard SW. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. According to local reports, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured party.
The offending vehicle was described as a red Chevrolet Blazer. The sport-utility vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on Rio Bravo Boulevard in the direction of Interstate 25. The identity of the deceased party has been withheld.
Officials are currently seeking information on the identity of the driver involved in the deadly crash. An ongoing investigation into the incident is underway.
